Educational Technology

The Ed Tech team handles the training, instructional design, and best practices for all online course development in Blackboard as part of UIC Law’s distance education program. To make the most of the technology used in both our online and traditional courses, one-on-one and group training sessions are available to faculty and staff throughout the academic year, and the link to our Blackboard handbook for faculty is below. Distance Education

The Ed Tech team provides expertise in the areas of learning technology, mobile access, pedagogical concerns, instructional design, and other areas as related to the development and delivery of online courses. The use of Blackboard as a learning management system at UIC Law offers many possibilities for interactive online course content. Our goal is to make your experience as an online instructor or course developer the best it can be so that, in turn, our online students recognize UIC Law as a content-rich frontrunner in the online course market. If you have questions regarding online course development, please contact Chris Bevard to schedule an appointment.
